recently went to crater lake with my search and rescue group to participate in a statewide search - national, actually since the FBI was there, too. if you look hard enough, you can find a couple of news articles about it. the media dismissed it as a training exercise - which is was - but we were, of course, also looking for remains.

a good friend of mine, from my search and rescue group, who was like a brother to me, committed suicide just days after the trip.

it was very hard, he left no note, and therefor, no reason. no closure.

death is an interesting subject for me.

but i uploaded the 300+ pictures that have been sitting on my camera for months now, and i submitted a few just recently. i may or may not add more if i go back and find more that i like.

i need a new DA id. i'll get on that asap.

i work so much, i barely get the opportunity to sit down and do something creative, except for photomanipulations, and well... moving on.

there's a craft warehouse about ten minutes' walk from where i live now, i'm thinking i need to skedaddle on down there and buy me a sketch pad and some pencils.

i've been trying my hand at digital art, but that doesn't work so well for me, despite the fact i've got a pen tool - it's just not the same.
